INSTRUCTIONS AND MEASUREMENTS
1 - Set yourself up to get a production line going ;)
2 - Cut 6 of the covers using Pear Pizzazz 6" x 4". Score at 3" fold but dont burnish at this point.
Open each piece out flat on one pile.
3 - From the DSP Floral Romance sheet cut a 3 3/4" strip. Turn it and cut 4 pieces measuring 2 3/4".
Corner round and ink up these if you wish.
4 - Cut the A4 papers to 5 1/2" x 3 3/4" (3 sheets cut to these measurements makes enough pages for
two notebooks) Fold each of the pages in half. Corner round the pages. Stack 6 of these pages
ontop of each other to make your booklet.
5 - Lay the pages on top of the inside of the cover and hold in position with binder clips of
paperclips making sure the fold lines of the pages line up with the fold line of the cover.
6 - Poke two holes approx 3/4" from each end through all the layers at the fold mark.
7 - With strong thread ( not sewing cotton) sew all the layers together as shown in the video
( link below).
8 - Fold and burnish the booklet. Adhere the cover Mats to the front and back cover.
9 - Lay some ribbon across the front and wrap around to the back. Hold in position with a dot of
glue. Punch a Scalloped Circle and ink the edges. Attach to the centre of the ribbon which will
help to secure the ribbon in place. Decorate with both DSP and Vellum Butterflies. Add Flat
Back Pearls to the Butterfly bodies.
10 - Tie the ends of the ribbons into a pretty bow and voila!! complete :)
